The Expert Staff at Traditions at North Bend

Our days are filled with important duties and routines. Yet human connection takes precedence over the necessities of our job descriptions every time. You are why we're here.

We bring varied backgrounds and skills to our roles, but we are all here to love and support you.

Executive Director : Jamie Nell

With more than 30 years of experience in healthcare, Jamie Nell brings a deep well of knowledge, compassion, and leadership to her role at Traditions at North Bend. She began her career as a social worker after earning her degree in Social Work from Miami University, serving in skilled nursing facilities and local hospitals. Those early years shaped her commitment to supporting individuals and families through some of life’s most meaningful and vulnerable moments.

Driven to broaden her impact, Jamie continued her education at The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business, where she earned her Licensed Nursing Home Administrator certification. For the past decade, she has served as an administrator and director, focusing on quality care, strong team culture, and creating environments where residents, families, and staff feel supported and valued.

Jamie’s passion for senior living is rooted in the relationships she has built throughout her career. “Working with seniors taught me the importance of dignity, compassion, and creating a true sense of home,” she shares. Her leadership philosophy centers on consistency, connection, and the belief that exceptional care begins with a community that feels like family.

Outside of work, Jamie loves spending time outdoors—whether it’s a quick weekend getaway or simply enjoying a sunny afternoon. The ocean is her favorite place to recharge, and she’s always dreaming about her next beach trip. She also adores her dog, Holly, who occasionally joins her at work. Holly has become a beloved “unofficial therapy dog,” bringing joy, comfort, and plenty of smiles to residents and staff alike.

Robin Hoffman

Activities Director: Robin Hoffman

Robin has a Bachelor's of Science in Recreational Therapy from Eastern Kentucky University and has worked with seniors for more than 20 years.

"North Bend is filled with laughter, smiles and great stories our residents tell. I am here for these reasons, as well as our BBET behavioral therapy program for memory care and our wonderful team. We believe in making eye contact with our residents, smiling and listening. Simple, but so important and worthwhile. I recently watched a 102-year-old resident FaceTime with her daughter, and to see the amazement on her face was really something special."

Robin and her husband, Fred have been married for 12 years.
